A founding member and bandleader, Dave started playing guitar at the age of eight, and found his passion for music right away. Dave played in a few rock bands during his high school and college years including Stonehenge, Wacco, the New Flamingos, and more recently, Steadfast, Radiance, Seven Times Blue, the Rasters and the Linda Carroll Band. Currently, when Dave's not playing with Blue Liz, he's playing guitar with the Ante Up Band, or being a part-time rocket scientist at a large local aerospace company.

In addition to guitar, Dave is proficient on the bass guitar and mandolin, has dabbled with the hammer dulcimer, and is also the composer of the band's original songs. The Blue Lizard Band is a great fit for his talent and love of music.
